How do you split a receipt with friends?
In Chair, check the items on a shared receipt and choose your share. Everyone’s selections come together on the same bill. You make the actual payment outside the app.

Check the receipt items first
After joining the night, open the bill flow. If you use receipt reading, compare item names, quantities, prices, and the total with the original receipt. An AI reading is not a verified bill. Correct mistakes before sharing it.
Choose your items and agree on shared portions
Choose your share from the items published to the shared bill. Agree with your friends on how to divide shared food or drinks. Keeping personal records does not automatically share them with the table.
Example: two waters and a coffee
This is a fictional example: two waters cost TRY 10 each and a coffee costs TRY 30. The total is TRY 50. If one person had a water and the coffee, their share is TRY 40. The other person’s water costs TRY 10.
Check extra charges and shared items on a real bill too. Review the allocation together before treating it as an agreed payment.
Review together before closing the bill
Check unassigned or incorrectly selected items. Everyone should review their share before the host finalizes the bill. Chair does not collect money or send payment instructions to a bank.
